Mini-Cassia Offers Some of the Lowest Costs of Doing Business in the Country

  • IDAHO TAX REIMBURSEMENT. Tax credit of up to 30% for up to 15 years on new state tax revenues generated by companies seeking to expand in or relocate to the state of Idaho by adding new, qualifying jobs.

State Incentives

A wide package of incentives for businesses that invest at least $500,000 in new facilities and creates at least 10 new jobs averaging $40,000 a year with benefits.

Tax credit of up to 30% for up to 15 years on new state tax revenues generated by companies seeking to expand in or relocate to the state of Idaho by adding new, qualifying jobs.

The credit equals 39% of the investment paid out over seven years; businesses can realize 10% to 15% back on their capital investment. The credit can also be realized at the current proposed site if it is qualified as a low-income employer. In order to qualify for this incentive, the capital expenditure of a new project must typically be at least $4 million.

Every city in Mini-Cassia owns their own utilities companies and as such, offer unique utility incentives to incoming businesses. Contact the city you're looking at to see what unique incentives they are offering in terms of utility costs. 

Businesses considering new, non-retail facilities may receive a partial or full property tax exemption for up to 5 years from local county commissioners. Required investments for property tax exemption range from $500,000 to $3 million depending on the county.
